About

Someone once told me that you cannot get what you want if you don’t believe you cannot have it. One of my recent favorite movies, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, said it best: “We accept the love we think we deserve.” Which brings me to the concept of manifestation. In days gone by, I recall a manifestation activity suggested by a close friend at the time. She said that in order for me to get what you need in life, whether its a relationship, a new car, a new home, a dream vacation – anything… you have to manifest it. She suggested that I write down the things I wanted to manifest and keep it in a sacred place.

I quickly scribbled my “Top 5 List” that I wanted to manifest, including a new relationship, and kept it in my “lucky box” of favorite memorabilia and went with it. Within 2 years, I manifested 4 out of the 5 desires. She explained it to me as collecting energy in your cosmic bank of the Universe and when the time was right – the Universe would redeem your wishes. Interesting concept. It worked, and I did it a few more times throughout the last 9 years, including finding a job that continues to feed my soul.

It’s been almost 10 years since I last focused on a “manifestation list”. I’ve entered a new chapter of my life that requires me to tap into those cosmic forces once more. In this digital age of social media and data, I’ve decided to utilize the collective force of blogging to help manifest my next chapter. I don’t know how this manifesto will end, but I do know how it will begin.

If a single individual such as me can bring about that which my heart desires; I can only imagine the collective manifestation that others will bring.

I can only hope.
